there was a moment in pop culture where you couldn’t get away from pete davidson and his sweet goofy smile. every single celebrity was either romantically linked to him or were thinking about it. then for a hot minute (as the kids would say), he was ghost! perhaps, he was just working on his new show bupkis. the show is a heightened, fictionalized version of pete davidson’s real life. bupkis will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements. i love absurd shows, but i also love great acting. the bupkis cast is considered acting elite. emmy award winning actress edie falco will play pete davidson’s mom and joe pesci will play his dad. guest stars include charlie day, chase sui wonders, simon rex, kenan thompson and a much needed everybody loves raymond reunion of ray romano and brad garrett. bupkis premieres will all eight half hour episodes on peacock, thursday may 4th. finally, a date night with pete, let’s see what all the fuss is about. am i right ladies?
